Experience the future of micro‐plate reader technology today with the new SPECTROstar Nano.

This ultra‐fast, full spectrum absorbance micro=plate reader with cuvette port is perfect for all absorbance assays. Its rapid full spectrum analysis at a resolution of 1 nm allows for absorbance assays never before possible on a micro‐plate reader.

SPECTROstar Nano

Using an ultrafast absorbance spectrometer, it can capture a full UV-Visible spectrum from 220 nm to 1000 nm in less than 1 sec/well and measure sample volumes down to 2 μL.

Use the built-in cuvette port for kinetic studies and quick experiments and measure all standard micro-plate formats up to 1536 wells.

Hoefer Announces NEW Mini Centrifuge

The new Hoefer Mini Centrifuge is compact, easy to use and designed to meet the wide range of applications found in research.

The Hoefer Mini Centrifuge includes two rotors a 6 place 1.5ml and a PCR Strip. At 6000 rpm /2000g it is perfect for quickly spinning down samples, micro gel filtration applications and micro-volume biological fluid centrifugation.

Fast acceleration and braking make it perfect for quick spins. The small footprint requires less than six inches of bench space.

The New Hoefer Mini Centrifuge comes complete with two rotors 6 place 1.5ml and a PCR strip rotor two sets of adaptors, to accommodate 1.5 ml, 0.5 ml and 0.4 ml tubes as well as 0.2 ml strips and individual tubes.

The standard and strip tube rotors are easily interchanged. Perfect for DNA spin downs with speeds of 6000 rpm/2000g
